This post was sparked by a professional businessman who lives in Pinehurst that made the 75 mile drive to North Raleigh to get a professional headshot for his business marketing materials including his website and LinkedIn. Yes, I am in North Raleigh, but the drive may be worth it if you are in need of professional headshots. I’ve even had someone drive from Winston-Salem to Raleigh for a headshot and several people have driven from Fayetteville and other surrounding areas.

The businessman that drove from Pinehurst to Raleigh had a previous experience of attempting to get a headshot that he was not happy with but more importantly his wife was not happy with. He mentioned that his wife stated “and you paid money for these?” That’s not a good sign.

The Pinehurst businessman ended up at our North Raleigh studio after doing some internet research. He had specifically set the day aside to get the headshot that he wanted and made the 75 mile drive from Pinehurst to make it happen. He did 4 different outfits and I shot nearly 300 images to give him plenty to choose from both inside and outside. Not only was he happy with the results but he ended up getting 5 final edited images which gives him plenty of variety to use in his business.

Should you drive from Pinehurst NC to North Raleigh for your headshot? That depends on how much you like the work on my site and whether you find value in spending the extra time it takes for the drive. It’s really not a bad drive to Raleigh and there areplenty of other things you can do in the area when you come to town for your headshot.

I can also drive to Pinehurst to photograph you, but it will be more than I charge in studio. I have shot corporate events at the Pinehurst Resort, just recently shot at another location in Pinehurst and will be back at the Pinehurst Resort soon for another shoot as of this post.
