Commercial Photography Image Taken In Charlotte NC By Photographer David Williams
The commercial use image above is one of over 400 images that I took recently on a commercial photography shoot in Charlotte NC. Although we are Raleigh based, we provide both photography and video services all over the United States. Our company typically provides services in the Charlotte area several times a year.
Photography is a very subjective field. Either a potential client likes your work or they don’t. Sometimes, it only takes one image that stands out to a potential client to influence them to take action.
Although I do strive to improve my photography and videography, at the end of the day, my work is my work, my style is my style and potential clients will either like it or they will not.
The reason for the last two paragraphs is to say that when companies pay to have me travel around the country or choose to have me drive from Raleigh to Charlotte for a photoshoot, they have obviously started by seeing something they like in my work. Once I get a potential client on the phone, I know how to answer questions, sell our services and ask questions that hopefully get closer to closing new business. No matter how good a photographer is, it takes knowing how to talk with people, asking the right questions and selling the potential client on “why you” to get to the next steps in the process.
I love working in the Charlotte area and I can easily do a half day commercial photoshoot like the one this image is from in a same day trip from the Raleigh area. I left my home about 5 a.m. which is not a problem at all for me because I love the early morning and was back in my driveway at 4 p.m. So whether it’s Raleigh, Charlotte or even the West Coast of the US and beyond, I’ll go (or our team will) wherever the client needs me (us).
